India vs South Africa: The Indian cricket team has experienced two major setbacks during their tour to South Africa. Deepak Chahar, who was on the ODI team, has withdrew his name.
Mohammed Shami, who was part of the Test squad, is out due to injury. Deepak has withdrew from the ODI series owing to a family medical issue.
The selecting committee has picked Akash Deep as his replacement. Shami’s participation in the test series was always dependent on his fitness due to the injury he suffered during the 2023 ODI World Cup.
The information regarding both bowlers was provided by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Deepak Chahar was a part of the Indian team in the T20 series against Africa, but he did not play any matches and did not travel to Africa with Team India.
