The sight for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy semis will be drawn to a conclusion after the results of the IND vs NZ clash in Dubai today. The India vs New Zealand match is the final fixture in the group stage for this edition of the Champions Trophy.
India has been a very dominating side in the history of the Champions Trophy, having made it to the finals on several occasions. While the Kiwis have never had an exemplary record in the knockouts of any ICC event, however, in the group stage games, New Zealand have always emerged as the heavyweight over India in ICC events, especially in the 50-over format.
If the Men in Blue can secure a win at Dubai today they will advance as the top side from Group A and will hence feature in the First semi-final against the Aussies who qualified from second position of Group B.
The First sem-final is scheduled for the 4th of March, and likely if India and Australia have a face-off in the match then the action will take place in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The second semi-final fixtures on the 5th of March should then include New Zealand and South Africa who would advance to Lahore for the knockouts.
