India Tour Of Australia 2024-2025: The Indian Team will be on tour to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which will include a five-test series between India and Australia. It is expected that the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025 is set to start in December of this year and till January 2025. However, the Dates of this test series between two arch-rivals of test cricket are yet to be Announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025 will have a pink ball test match and it will be the first after 2018 that the Indian Team will be playing the first day/night test against Australia. India and Australia played a historic day/night test at Adelaide Cricket Ground in 2018 however, the Indian Team won this test match by 31 runs.
The Five-match test series between India and Australia will kick off with the first test match at WACA Ground in Perth then the second day/night test match will be played at Adelaide Oval Cricket Ground whereas the third and fourth test matches will be played in Brisbane and Melbourne, respectively.
The Last and final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025 will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground. Last time, India and Australia played a test match in the ICC WTC 2021-2023 Final at Kennington Oval and the Australian Team played exceptional cricket therefore they won the ICC WTC 2021-23 Trophy after defeating the Indian Team by a massive 209 runs.

The Five-match test series between India and Australia will be the part of ICC World Test Championship 2023-2025. This series will be very crucial for both the teams as series winning team will definitely make their spot in the ICC WTC 2023-25 Final.
As of now, the Indian team is leading the ICC WTC Points Table with a PCT of 68.51 as they have played nine matches so far from which, India won six and lost two test matches therefore they have 74 points.
The Australian team has occupied second position in the ICC WTC Points Table 2023-25 with a PCT of 62.5 and they have played 11 matches and from which, Australia won eight and lost three test matches hence they have 90 points, which is the highest among other teams.
