IND-W vs AUS-W: BCCI Announces India’s Squad for T20I and ODI Series against Australia | Australia Women Tour of India 2023-24: Indian Women Team will be playing a three-match ODI and T20I Series against Australia on their home soil. As the Series got nearer, BCCI announced a strong Indian Women’s squad for both ODI and T20I Series against Australian Women. Therefore, Harmanpreet Kaur will be leading the Team.
After Winning the Historic Test Series against Australia by 1-0, the Indian Women’s Team will now be focusing on the ODI and T20I Series. The T20I squad still remain unchanged from the England series, whereas Four new players got a maiden call in the 16-member ODI squad.
The three-match ODI series between Indian Women and Australian Women will start on December 28, 2023, and the first match will be played at Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai. The Second and Third ODI will be played on December 30, 2023 and January 02, 2024, respectively.
After the ODI series, Both the Teams will be playing a three-match T20I series, which is scheduled to start on January 05, 2024, and the match will be played at DY Patil Cricket Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The Remaining Two matches will be played on January 07 and 09, respectively.
It will be a crucial series for the Australian Team, and they will be trying their best to win the ODI and T20I series against the Indian Team on their home soil. However, it is not going to be easy for any of the Teams to win the matches easily, but the Indian Team will have the upper hand as the home conditions will favour spinners a lot, but the Australian Women’s team has good spinners.
