IND vs SA: Temba Bavuma Ruled Out of Second Test, Dean Elgar Will Lead The South African Team: South African Skipper Temba Bavuma was ruled out of the second test due to the hamstring injury sustained during the first test match against India. The Former Skipper Dean Elgar will be leading the South African side in the second test match against India at Newlands Cricket Ground in Capetown.

Temba Bavuma got injured while fielding in the first test match in India’s first inning. He was trying to stop the ball off a shot played by Virat Kohli in the 20th over. Bavuma left the field immediately and after the scan, it was confirmed that he sustained a left hamstring strain.

Dean Elgar was the Player of the Match in the first test match against India at SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium. Dean Elgar played a fantastic innings of 185 runs and led his team to a strong position, which later helped them to build pressure on the Indian Team.

IND vs SA, South Africa defeated India by an Inning and 32 runs:

South Africa defeated the Indian Team in the first test match at SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium by an inning and 32 runs. South Africa dominated India from Day 1 in this test match, which later helped them to win the game easily.

India scored 245 and 131 runs in their first and second innings, respectively whereas South Africa scored 408 runs in their first inning. India had a trail of 163 runs while batting second but they couldn’t score runs and hence lost the game.

From the Indian Side, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scored 76 and 26 runs, respectively in the second innings. They are the only batters who scored 10+ runs in the second inning. Jasprit Bumrah was the only bowler, who was bowling well and was building pressure from one end but couldn’t get support from other bowlers.

The South African Pacers dominated Indian Batters as Star Bowler Kagiso Rabada and Young Pacer Nandre Burger took seven wickets each in this test match.
