IND vs NZ: The buzzing commentator Ravi Shastri turns into his most savage form during a comment passed on Sarfaraz during the course of the game.

Sarfaraz Khan, who was seen fielding in the position of the forward short leg, missed on a quick ball that travelled towards him. The ball went on to hit him near the lower abdominal area, and he busted in geez with discomfort.

Witnessing the incident, Dinesh Karthik from the commentary box remarked in a humorous manner and said, “Sarfaraz won’t like where the ball hit him.

To this, Ravi Shastri, the man known for his savage self and stunning humour, which is often dark, replied in a quirky manner, “He’s a Daddy now, so it’s fine.”.

After a dismaying performance in the first test match at the Chinnaswamy stadium, the Indian team made some subtle yet significant changes to the Indian squad. Washington Sundar was added to the squad for the second and third tests and was immediately brought into the Playing 11 as well.

Though earlier coach Gambhir had to face severe criticism over preferring Sundar as a spinner over Kuldeep Yadav, he proved to be an asset to his coach and skipper. Ravi Ashwin began the early carnage before lunch, with three wickets of the top-order batters from New Zealand.

He dismissed Devon Conway as his third wicket, and with the wicket, Aswhin became the highest wicket-taker in the WTC, surpassing Nathan Lyon’s likes.

However, New Zealand, who were once 197/3, were all-out for 259 as Washi cleaned the batting order with his spin. He went on to pick 7-wickets, including the likes of set Rachin Ravindra. This is Sundar’s maiden international five-for and best figures in first-class cricket.
