Rohit Sharma, after the weak performances in Test cricket for India, had to face the heat of criticism as he kept on giving weak performances playing for Mumbai in the only match he appeared in against Jammu & Kashmir in the Ranji Trophy.

Scoring the ton with a huge six-over long-off against Adil Rashid of just 76 balls, he turned the third batter in One-Day Internationals with the most ODI hundreds after Virat Kohli’s 50 and Sachin Tendulkar’s 49 ODI hundreds.

Rohit was finally dismissed for an individual score of 119 runs after India was 220/3, as Liam Livingstone bowled a misthrown full toss angling towards the batter’s pads; hence, Rohit mistimed it, and Adil Rashid took a beauty of a catch running backward over his head as the ball sailed and swarmed over his head.
Rohit, however, again missed completing 11000 ODI runs as he remains only 13 runs behind, attaining the iconic feat in international cricket, and only 376 runs behind, surpassing former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly to be India’s third-highest run-getter in the format.
