Ravichandran Ashwin played exceptional cricket in the five-match test series against England and he broke lots of records including 400 test wickets in Asia and completed 500+ wickets in Test cricket. England scored 353 runs in their first inning in the fourth test match at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi whereas the Indian Team was able to score only 307 runs in their first inning. Therefore, England had a lead of 46 runs but they failed to score high runs on the scoreboard in their second inning.
England played poor cricket in their second inning as they got all out by scoring just 145 runs in 53.5 overs. Zak Crawley and Jonny Bairstow scored 60 and 30 runs, respectively in this match and they are the only batters who scored 20+ runs for England in their second inning.
From the Indian bowling department, Ravichandran Ashwin took five wickets in the second inning of England whereas Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket. Indian Spinners dominated England in the second inning, but they didn’t lead them to make partnerships which eventually led to have low score.
