IND vs BAN: The Indian team under new head coach Gautam Gambhir and skipper Suryakumar Yadav are looking for great new dimensions for their side.

India is looking to rebuild their core team ahead of the next T20 World Cup, especially after the World Cup triumph in 2024 under Rohit Sharma, since India had to part ways with the finest of their cricketers in the shortest format of the game, as they will host the next World cup in 2026 where India would enter as the defending champions.

After the initial Sri Lanka T20I series which India dominated, they will now take on Bangladesh on their own land. The likes of big names like Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah are already absent from the side due to management of workload.

Let’s take a look at India’s Squad: Suryakumar Yadav [C], Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson, Jitesh Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya, Riyan Parag, NK Reddy, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakravarthy, Harshit Rana and Mayank Yadav.

Strongest Probable Playing 11 for India:

Openers:

India have once again included the unstoppable Abhishek Sharma into the side as an opener, the left-handed batting genius scored a maiden hundred on the international debut series and won every heart with his amazing shots.

Alongside the rising youngster is the promising Sanju Samson who might be seen taking up the role of an opener in the absence of others, while he might also be seen in a wicket-keeping role.

Middle order Batters

The tally will be led by the dynamic Suryakumar Yadav who might be the no.3 promoted batsman.

Following the footsteps of his skipper and abiding by his norms, Riyan Parag might play a crucial role as an all-rounder and a batter at no.4 as well.

Indian World Cup winner and T20 veteran Hardik Pandya might also be the next most obvious name on the list and the other all-rounder would be Shivam Dube as both are often seen as smashing finishers.

When it’s finishing you can’t let that one name slip your mind, yes it’s Rinku Singh who will end our tally of batters.

Bowlers

The bowling deck might look different in the presence of new cricketers in Ravi Bishnoi and Varun Chakravarthy, India’s new spinning duo and also their pace duo though eminent due to tier good form seems a fair unimaginable sight, as young Arshdeep and Harshit Rana making his debut might be seen in the role.
