IND vs BAN: India after ending their test series against the visitors, as the first match against Chennai was dominated singly by the hosts who claimed a confronting 280-run victory over the neighbouring side.

The Second test has however been heavily affected by rain, as this might heavily affect their WTC schedule. The Indian team will next be playing the T20I series against the Bangladesh side, as Surya and co. will be back on the field.

Team India has announced the Squad for the upcoming T20I series, as they have seen many changes that are being made to India’s squad to the shortest format of the game.

The Gambhir era has started, and the selections spark a sense of clear indication, as Kolkata Knight Riders’ highest wicket-taker from the 2024 title-winning season, Varun Chakravarthy has made an Indian team comeback, after 3-long years since he last played for the Men in Blue during the World Cup 2021, where the Indian team had to face a group stage exit.

Alongside Gambhir, even Mayank Yadav the speedster from the LSG side has been picked under the role of Morne Morkel as India’s bowling coach. The genuine pacer has an affinity for fast bowlers and Mayank with his 150+ speed has made his way upto the main team.


Also, young talent Harshit Rana who had a perfect IPL season with the Kolkata Knight Riders and later a stunning Duleep Trophy campaign has also been drawn in for the second time after the Sri Lanka series and this time around he would look to make his debut.

Due to the management of workload, players like Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Md. Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant have been relieved from playing the Bangladesh T20s, as a result of which several uncapped players have made their way into the team.

Nitish Kumar Reddy will be India’s next batting all-rounder, alongside Hardik Pandya. Abhishek Sharma and Jitesh Sharma make their way back into the Indian side. While also the absence of full-time openers Gill and Jaiswal and with no Gaikwad on the side, Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson might make their way into the side as openers.
