IND vs AUS: Virat Kohli, who is known as one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the sport, started his Australian tour on a high by scoring an astonishing century in Adelaide. Despite his undeniable talent and past achievements, his recent performances have not been up to his usual high standards, sparking discussions among fans and critics.

The legendary batter is currently experiencing a dip in form and consistency. While his technique and mental toughness remain unquestionable, his inability to convert starts into significant scores has been a noticeable issue. With his past records, he is expected to bounce back stronger and silence his critics, as he has done numerous times in the past.

Virat Kohli is getting out on similar kinds of deliveries in every match, which has become a point of concern for both him and the team management. Bowlers have been targeting his off-stump with consistent lines and lengths, exploiting his tendency to chase wide deliveries or commit early to the front foot.

During the third Test match at Gabba, Australian bowler Josh Hazlewood delivered a ball outside the off stump, tempting him for a cover drive. Virat Kohli overcommitted to the ball in order to hit a cover drive and ended up giving a knick to the keeper.

Since many matches, the Indian batter has been repeating the same way to get dismissed, which has become a major talking point among fans and experts. Bowlers have been capitalizing on his vulnerability outside the off-stump, often enticing him with deliveries in the channel or short-pitched balls. This repeated pattern has resulted in a string of low scores, raising questions about his approach and shot selection.

After the second innings of the third Test match at Gabba, Josh Hazlewood achieved a rare milestone by joining Tim Southee in equaling the record for dismissing Virat Kohli the most times in international cricket.
