IND vs AUS: Australia won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test match for the Border Gavaskar Trophy against India at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur today. Australia’s first batting pair did not show much special performance, but veteran batsmen David Warner and Usman Khawaja gave their important wickets to Indian bowlers in just a few balls.
Two batsmen in Australia’s batting order have been successful in their batting. Marnus Labuschagne played slow and steady in his batting, in which he scored 49 runs in 123 balls for the team, while Steven Smith scored 37 runs in 107 balls. In Team Australia’s camp, it appeared that the batsmen would hit back-to-back sixes and fours, but there was not a single six except fours in the entire innings.
