ICC WTC Points Table Updated After Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 1st Test 2023 | ICC World Test Championship 2023-25: Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in their 1st Test match of ICC WTC 2023-25 Cycle, and Pakistan moved to the third spot in the points table with 12 points.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka were playing the first test match at Galle International Cricket Stadium, Galle. Pakistan won this match and showed dominating cricket against Sri Lanka on their home ground.

The Player of the match was Youngster Saud Shakeel scored a double century in this match and became the first Pakistani batter to knock a double century against Sri Lanka. He scored 208 & 30 runs in both innings of this match.

Sri Lanka scored 312 runs in their first inning and then scored 279 runs in their second innings of this match hence giving Pakistan 131 runs target.

Pakistan has dominated Sri Lanka in batting and bowling; they scored 461 runs in their first innings and then easily chased the target of 131 runs.

From the Pakistan Bowling side, Abrar Ahmed took six wickets, whereas Shaheen Shah Afridi took five wickets. From Sri Lankan Side, Prabath Jayasuriya and Ramesh Mendis took six wickets each.
