ICC WTC Points Table Updated After England vs Australia Ashes 2023 | ICC World Test Championship 2023-25: The 5th Test Match of the 2023 Ashes series between England and Australia was played at The Oval from July 27-31, 2023. England won the match by 49 runs, ending the series draw (2-2).

The series was very important for England and Australia for ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 Cycle, but The Series was drawn between both the teams and Australia is in 3rd position, whereas England is present in 4th position in the ICC WTC Points Table.

England batted first, and they scored 283 on the scoreboard in their first innings. Australia scored 295 in their first inning, and England scored 395 runs in their second inning, giving Australia a target of 384 runs. Australia were bowled out for 334 in their second innings and lost the match.

The Player of the Fifth Test Match was Chris Woakes, whereas Mitchell Starc was the player of the series. The match was notable for Stuart Broad’s final Test match. He finished his career with 604 Test wickets.

Chris Woakes took four wickets in the second innings, including the key wicket of Steve Smith. Joe Root scored 91 runs in the second innings. Australia’s lower order didn’t bat well in the second innings, as Mitchell Marsh and Alex Carey scored 6 and 28 runs, respectively.
