World Cup 2023: After competing against cricket teams from all over the world in the grand event of the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 tournament, only ten teams have been able to become participants in the global cricket platform.

Currently, this tournament is moving towards the finals, and there is fierce competition between these teams. Australia, England, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands.

All the teams have earned their place on the points table in terms of their ability, among all these teams, the Indian team is unbeatable in the table.

However, tomorrow two great teams New Zealand and South Africa will face each other at the Cricket Association Stadium in Pune Maharashtra. So far, the Kiwi team is in third place in this competition with 10 points after playing 6 matches, 4 wins and 2 losses.

The opposition team South Africa, which was aggressive and dominant in the game from the beginning, was fighting to remain at the first position along with India on the points table.

The two sides are currently second and third in the standings and will meet again in the semi-finals of the competition if they remain in those positions at the end of the group stage.

There is still a lot of cricket left to be played before the semi-finals begin and this is a crucial encounter for a top-four finish, with the winner one step closer to a place in the knockout stage.

Interestingly, both the teams have not met in an ODI match since the recent World Cup held in England and Wales in 2019 and on that occasion, the Kiwis won the thrilling encounter on the back of a brilliant century by captain Kane Williamson.

Pitch Report:- In the ICC ODI World Cup, matches are also being played at the ACA i.e. Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, Maharashtra. The pitch here is considered solid for batting, where runs are being scored in abundance. The last match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan was played on this pitch, where Lanka could not score a big score.

The surface of Pune has been flat, it is considered quite easy for the batsmen to play here. There is not much success in bowling here. Because there is no help for either the spinners or the fast bowlers on the pitch here. In such a situation, a high-scoring match can be seen.

Well, it is clear that there is no possibility of rain here. Talking about the weather here on Wednesday, the maximum temperature in Pune will be 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be 18 degrees Celsius. The effect of dew may be visible in the evening.
