ICC World Cup 2023 Points Table [Rank 1 to 10] Updated After Australia vs South Africa match | ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 Standing: South Africa defeated Australia in the 10th match of ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 by 134 runs at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. The Player of the Match was Quinton de Kock, who played a phenomenal inning of 109 runs.

After Winning this match, South Africa moved to the top position in the ICC World Cup 2023 Points Table with four points. They surpassed New Zealand and Team India in the latest standing.

New Zealand slipped to the second position, whereas India went to the third spot. Both the teams have four points, but they had different net run rates of +1.958 and +1.500, respectively.

Australia has played two matches in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 so far, and they lost both games. And currently, they are present at the ninth spot with zero points and a net run rate of -1.846.

South Africa batted first, and they played superb cricket and scored 311 runs on the scoreboard. Quinton de Kock scored 109 runs in 106 balls, and Aiden Markram scored 56 runs in 44 balls.

From the Australian Side, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell took two wickets each, whereas Skipper Pat Cummins got only one wicket in this match.

Australia showed a poor performance in the second inning as they lost their wickets easily and couldn’t chase the target, hence losing the match by 134 runs. Marnus Labuschagne scored 46 runs in 74 balls.

From the South African side, Kagiso Rabada took three wickets in his eight overs spell, whereas Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi took two wickets each.
