The Indian Players have improved their position in all segments of ICC Player Rankings, Rohit Sharma entered the Top 10 list after performing decently in the test series against South Africa.
New Zealand Skipper Kane Williamson is present at the first position in the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings with a rating of 864 and he has occupied this position for a long time but now, it is expected that he will be surpassed by someone soon. The English Star Player Joe Root is in the second spot with a rating of 859 in the latest ICC Player Rankings.
The Indian Star Batter Virat Kohli jumped three positions in the latest ICC Test Player Rankings and now, he is in the sixth spot with a rating of 775. However, Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma occupied the 10th position with a rating of 748 in the ICC Test Batter Rankings. Babar Azam is the only Pakistani Batter present in the top 10 list with a rating of 768.
Ravichandran Ashwin retains his top position in the ICC Test Bowling Rankings with a rating of 863 whereas Australian Skipper Pat Cummins has improved a lot and now, he is present in second position with a rating of 858 in the latest ICC Test Player Rankings. However, Cummins will surpass Ashwin but not for a long time as India will be playing the five-match test series against England later this month.
Jasprit Bumrah jumped to the fourth position with a rating of 787 in the ICC Test Bowling Rankings. Ravindra Jadeja retains his top position in the ICC Test Player Rankings as he has a rating of 434 whereas Ravichandran Ashwin is in the second spot with a rating of 341. Therefore, Jadeja will remain in this position as there is a huge difference in the rating of first and second position players.
