Team India is currently at first position in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Ranking with 116 ratings. However, They are also ranked no.1 in all three formats of cricket, which will give them confidence to continue playing their best cricket.

Now, Pakistan is at the second spot with a rating of 115 after having a decent performance in the Asia Cup 2023. They were at first position but only for a few days; Pakistan bowling need to perform better in this tournament to qualify for the semi-finals.

Australia slipped to third position with a rating of 112 after losing the ODI series against South Africa and India. Their key players were injured during these series, and some of them didn’t had good form; hence, they lost both series.

There is a high probability that India and Australia will meet in the ICC World Cup 2023 Final if they don’t play against each other in the semi-finals. Both the teams will be playing their first match against each other at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

South Africa and World Champion England are at the 4th and 5th spots with 106 and 105 ratings, respectively. South African batters have shown wonderful cricket this year, and their bowlers also supported them from the other end, which led them to win the series against Australia.

England will give good competition, but they need to play better cricket against spinners, as most of their batters aren’t fluent against spinners on the India Pitches.
