With all-rounders adding the much-needed balance to a squad, here is a look at the top 5 all-rounders to watch out for at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Over the year world cricket has seen many all-rounders. ICC T20 World Cup will also be featuring some of the top all-rounders on the globe. India will bring along Hardik, Axar, and Deepak. England will get with them, Liam, Moeen, and Stokes. Australia has a very long list too and so does Pakistan. An all-rounder adds immense value to the team by giving the much-required balance to the team. So, who are the expected top 5 all-rounders at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022?

Hardik Pandya will play in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022:

Hardik Pandy has made one of the best comebacks in Indian cricket history. He had to learn once again how to walk due to his back injury and from there on Hardik has come a very long way. He is a 100% fit for the team and adds much-needed balance to the team. He is a multi-dimensional player. His bowling is also a true asset as he clocks over 135 clicks very easily.

Ben Stokes will play in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022:

Who is better than Sir Ben Stokes on the global stage? He is a true match-winner. When we top about the performances in the big games, it is characters like Ben who will show responsibility. These are players who have the habit to deal with pressure. Ben has done it twice. Once at Headingly in the 2019 Ashes and once at the 2019 World Cup final. He can bat, can bowl, and is an exceptional fielder.

Mitchell Marsh/Tim David will play in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022:

Mitchell Marsh is an asset for the Australian team as he bats number 3 or number 4. He does that and gives 3 to 4 good overs of pace. The Australian team however doesn’t require them because of the presence of two other all-rounders. One being Glenn Maxwell and the other one being Tim David or Marcus Stoinis. So, Australia is expected to play 2 of the 3, David, Marsh, and Stoinis.

Shakib Al-Hasan:

The top all-rounder on the ICC charts will be leading Bangladesh at the World Cup 2022. Shakib is back where he belongs. He can be a true leader by performing. He was an underappreciated performer in the 2019 World Cup. He scored over 600 runs in 8 to 9 games and picked 10 wickets too. Shakib is the Bangladesh GOAT, no cap!

Wanindu Hasaranga:

Wanindu is also blooming and growing. Hasaranga and his dominant force came to notice at IPL 2022. He was making the batters dance to his spin. The ball was not turning square but it was a sharp turn. He is hard to pick because of his fast round-arm action. Hasaranga has started batting at number 6 and number 7. He is taking the designated responsibility of finishing the games for Sri Lanka. Hasaranga and Shanaka can be brutal forces that can cause trouble to many bowling lineups.
