ICC Player of the Month latest List: The “ICC Player of the Month “ award in the International cricket council(ICC) recognizes the best performing male and female cricketers across all the formats of the game (Test, ODI and T20I) in a given month.
The nominees are shortlisted by an independent ICC Awards Academy that includes former players, broadcasters and journalists from around the world. This is then decided through a voting process that combines the Academy’s votes and a public vote on the ICC website. The Player with the most votes in each category is decided as the ICC player of the month.
ICC Player of the Month latest List:
1. Mark Chapman(New Zealand)
Mark Chapman has played some crucial innings in the five matches of T20I series against Pakistan, which has made him a favourite for the ICC Player of the Month nominations.
He has score 34(27) , 65*(40) ,16* runs , 71* and a maiden century 104* in the last match, Which helped New Zealand to tied the series. Chapman’s Ranking has been moved to 35th position with 537 points in T20I Player Ranking.
2.Prabath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka)
A left-arm spinner from Sri Lanka has taken 50 test wickets in just seven matches to claim the record of a higher number of wickets in very few matches.
He has picked 17 wickets in the two matches against Ireland at Galle, and he completed this mark by taking the wicket of Paul Stirling.
He began his test career against Australia and took 12 wicket in his debut match, and now he has completed six five wickets hauls in only seven matches.
His career-best figure is 7/52, which he took against Ireland in the second test match, which made him nominated for ICC Player of the Month award.
3. Fakhar Zaman( Pakistan)
Pakistani opening batsman has shown fantastic form against New Zealand in the ODI series, he has scored unbeaten 180 runs in the second match against the Kiwis, which helped Pakistan to register the highest run chase at Rawalpindi Stadium.
In the first ODI, he scored 117 runs in 114 balls which helped teams to chase 289 runs. In the T20I match, he scored a quick 47 runs, so Pakistan won the match by 88 runs. Considering the above performance, ICC has nominated him for Player of the Month.
Pakistan won the third ODI Match as well and now, taking a lead of 3-0 in the series.
