After losing the Match, Team India is still at the top position in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings.
South Africa played excellent cricket with both bat and ball in the second ODI match against India. The Youngster Tony de Zorzi played an exceptional inning of 119 runs in 122 balls with nine fours and six sixes. Reeza Hendricks also played decent cricket, as he scored 51 runs in 86 balls.
With such a performance, they easily won the match, and now, South Africa is in third position in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings with a rating of 109 and 3,821 points. South Africa has played 35 ODI matches so far, and they occupied a decent position. Therefore, they can get a better position in the upcoming games.
India played decently in the second ODI match as they got all out at 211 runs. Sai Sudharshan and KL Rahul scored 62 and 56 runs, respectively. The Bowlers were also able to get wickets and, hence, lost the match. India is at the top spot with a rating of 121, as they have played 56 matches so far and have 6,800 points.
The World Cup Winner, Australia, is in second place with a rating of 117. The Australian Team has played 42 matches so far and has 4,926 points. Pakistan and New Zealand are in fourth and fifth spots, with a rating of 110 and 103, respectively.
