The Duleep Trophy second round has been far more stunning from the batting perspective than the first round, in which bowlers mostly dominated. However, this time around, batters like Ishan Kishan started the dominance as he came back with a stunning hundred.
Later for India C, Sudarshan and Patidar scored decent 40’s. Also, they were superiorly supported by Ruturaj Gaikwad and Baba Indrajith’s half-centuries, which included 58 and 78. India C posted a huge total of 525 at the back of Manav Suthar’s final 82 at the end of the innings, which was a perfect cherry on top of a wonderful innings.
In return, on Day 3, the India B skipper, Abhimanyu Easwaran, helped their innings as he started batting on Day 2 and remained not out on stumps on Day 3 with his unstoppable 143*, which raised a total of 309/7 as Anshul Kamboj took 5-wickets on a track that had simply nothing for bowlers.
Being a Mumbai Indians scouted player, Kamboj has been largely praised for his brilliant 5-fer, as he broke the back of India B’s batting with the wickets of Jagadeesan, Musheer Khan, Sarfaraz, Rinku, and NK Reddy.

On the other track of Anantapur, India A had their early lead from the first innings, after their 290-run innings with Sams Mulani’s 89 and Kotian’s 53 that took them to a total, while Khaleel Ahmed and Aqib Khan took 3-fers as Padikkal raised the only batter with a 92-run knock.
When the India A team came to bat in the third inning, Pratham Singh and Mayank Agarwal gave them stellar starts, as Agarwal scored a fifty-well, and then Pratham scored his maiden hundred in the Duleep Trophy with a 122-run knock. However, despite the help from the track, Riyan Parag fell short again, while Tilka marked his commanding return post injury with a century, as he remained not out on 111 alongside Shashwat Rawat, the No. 5, who scored a 64.
At the back of the 380-run total, they have posted a target of 488 in front of the India D, as they now stand 62/1, while Ricky Bhui stands the peak among the batters with a 44*.
