Duleep Trophy 2024-25: It is time for Team India to get ready for a long Test season. The Men in Blue, who are sitting at the top of the ongoing World Test Championship 2023-25 table, will now play a total of ten Test matches in the next 4-5 months.

They will host Bangladesh and New Zealand for two and three Tests, and it will be followed by a blockbuster five-match Border-Gavaskar trophy in Australia. So, the BCCI wants all the Indian Test players to be ready for it, which is why they have asked key players to feature in the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2024-25.

This is India’s prime red-ball tournament, which has given the opportunity to many players to make a place in India’s Test team. Hanuma Vihari-led South Zone won the last edition, beating West Zone in the final.

The upcoming tournaments will take place between September 5 and September 15, and the last game will take place on September 15. There will be a total of six matches, and all these games will take place at the Anantapur Cricket Ground complex in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually, this is a six-team tournament where the teams are divided on a zonal basis. But the BCCI has stepped away from that format, and now four teams will take part in the coming Duleep Trophy 2024-25. Those teams are India A, B, C, and D.

All the senior players like KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, and others will feature in the coming season. Meanwhile, there are chances that Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma might also play the Duleep Trophy 2024-25. This will help these players to get prepared for the upcoming long season of Test cricket.

Six matches will take place, and the team who will be at the top of the round will be announced as the winner. The squads for four teams have yet to be announced and will be announced shortly by the BCCI. But the schedule is ready. As per the latest update, one game has been slotted to be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. So, here is the complete schedule.
