Ben Stokes the royal magical All Rounder is getting an indefinite break from all cricket with immediate effect “to prioritize his mental wellbeing”, the England and Wales Cricket Board stated on Friday, 30 July. The break, which will see Stokes miss the upcoming ICC World Test Championship against India, has also been taken with the intention of resting the index finger of the left, who has not fully recovered since returning to competitive cricket earlier this month.
