The BCCI has announced the annual player retainership for women’s stars. Smriti, Deepti, and Harmanpreet are in grade A.On Thursday, the BCCI revealed the annual contracts (player retainership) for Indian women’s players.

Smriti, Deepti, and Harmanpreet are in grade A.On Thursday, the BCCI revealed the annual contracts (player retainership) for Indian women’s players.

All-arounder Deepti Sharma, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, and captain Harmanpreet Kaur were given first-team assignments. Rajeshwari Gayakwad, a spinner, has been dropped to the B category. Leg spinner Poonam Yadav, who played in the A category last season, is currently without a contract at all.

A player in Grade A received a salary of INR 50 lakh per year, whereas a player in Grade B received INR 30 lakh. The yearly pay for a Grade C player was INR 10 lakh.
