AUS-W vs SA-W 2024: South Africa Announces A Strong Squad for the White-ball Series Against Australia, Laura Wolvaardt will be leading the team in ODIs & T20Is: Cricket South Africa (CSA) announces 15-member squad for the T20I and ODI series against Australia Women. Many Key players returned to the side for the crucial white-ball series against strong opponents like Australia especially in the T20I cricket. Both the teams will be playing a three-match T20I series and then, they will be playing a three-match ODI series.
The T20I series between South Africa Women and Australia Women is scheduled to start from January 27 and it will end on January 30, 2024. However, The ODI series will run from February 03 to February 10, 2024. The ODI and T20I series between both teams will be played in Australia at different venues.
Laura Wolvaardt will be leading the South African Women’s Team in the three-match T20I and ODI series against Australia. This series is going to be very exciting for cricket fans as the South African and Australia Women’s Team have performed phenomenally in recent times. Australia Women defeated India Women in the three-match T20I series by 2-1 whereas South Africa Women defeated Bangladesh in the ODI series by 2-1.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) has added lots of key players to the team for the white-ball series. Chole Tryon returns to the side after suffering from a groin injury whereas Ayanda Hlubi got a maiden call in the ODI side, however, she performed well in the recent T20I series against Bangladesh. Some of the other key players are Marizanne Kapp, Sune Luus, Sinalo Jafta, and Tanzim Brits, whose performance will directly impact the team’s success in this white-ball series.
