Australian Team played good cricket in the first T20I match against West Indies and with this, David Warner created history after playing a match-winning knock in Bellerive, Australia. David Warner becomes the first Australian player to play 100 matches in all three formats (Test, ODI and T20I).
After achieving this milestone, Australian star batter David Warner joins the elite list of Virat Kohli and Ross Taylor, who have also played 100+ matches across all three formats for their respective teams. David Warner played a wonderful knock in his 100th T20I game and made the day special for him and his Team.

As of now, David Warner has already retired from ODI and Test cricket however, it is expected that he will be part of the Australian Team in the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024. Australia batted first and they scored a massive 213 runs on the scoreboard with a loss of seven wickets. David Warner and Josh Inglis gave an excellent start to the team as they made a partnership of 93 runs for the first wicket. David Warner scored 70 runs in 36 balls with 12 fours and one six whereas Josh Inglis scored 39 runs in 25 balls with 5 fours and one six.
Skipper Mitchell Marsh got out by scoring just 16 runs in 13 balls however Tim David played a superb inning of 37 runs in the death overs of the first inning. From the West Indies bowling department, Andre Russell took six wickets and Alzarri Joseph took two wickets. However, all the bowlers leaked lots of runs in the first inning.
In the second inning, Brandon King and Johnson Charles gave excellent stars to the team as they scored 53 and 42 runs, respectively. However, Johnson Charles played an excellent knock of 35 runs in just 13 balls in the last few overs but couldn’t help West Indies to win the first T20I match.
