AUS vs PAK: Australian all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell stunned everyone by hitting a switch hit on his first ball against Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah. The Big Show slammed his first ball on the crease for boundary and was looking in good touch.

During the 1st T20I between Australia and Pakistan at the Gabba in Brisbane, rain struck the stadium and the game was reduced to 7-overs aside. Australian explosive batter Glenn Maxwell started his innings on a high, by scoring a beautiful and elegant switch hit on his first ball of the innings. The aggressive batter has been struggling in form during the ODI series between these two sides.

The Showman Glenn Maxwell came on strike as number 3, after the dismissal of explosive opener Jake-Fraser McGurk. On the second ball of the second over, Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah bowls a good length delivery outside the leg stump. To counter the delivery, batter Maxwell brings out the reverse sweep and the ball touches the boundary for a four. This start gave confidence to out-of-form batter Glenn Maxwell.

The T20I match between Australia and Pakistan was reduced to 7 overs a side due to heavy rain. Australian Hitman, Glenn Maxwell played a wonderful knock of 43 runs in 19 balls, which fired the total score of Australia to 94 runs in 7 overs.

Australian bowlers Spencer Johnson and Xavier Bartlett, the new sensations of T20 cricket, rattled the Pakistan top order including the likes of skipper Rizwan and veteran player Babar Azam.


Nathan Ellis also picked 3 crucial wickets just like Bartlett did with his special spell, Pakistan scored some runs towards the back end with Abbas Afridi hitting the ball hard to all corners. Zampa ended the inning for Pakistan with 2 wickets as Australia won the first match by 29 runs.
