The tournament will be played in a round-robin format, in which there will be six teams, and they are divided into two groups. Each group will have three teams who will be competing with each other.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, and the winners of both the semi-finals will play in the final. The tournament will be played in a hybrid model; a total of 13 matches will be played in this tournament.
The four matches are scheduled in Pakistan, whereas the remaining nine matches will be held in Sri Lanka. This is due to the ongoing political tensions between India and Pakistan.
