IPL 2025: The Royal Challengers Bangalore have advanced to the top 2 spot after securing a huge win against the Lucknow Super Giants. This was the third-highest run chase in the history of the Indian Premier League, as RCB will now play alongside the Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1, and the winning team will enter straight into the finals.

IPL 2025 Updated Points Table 

Gujarat Titans are now placed in the 3rd position with 18 points; however, with 19 points, the Punjab Kings have sealed the top spot, and RCB, also with 19 points, made it to the top 2, and these two teams will advance to play in Qualifier 1, while the Titans will now have to face the Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator game, the first knockout of the season.

Marsh ends best season in the IPL

After the likes of Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav, now the likes of Mitchell Marsh have also ended the season with another 600+ runs as he starred in the last match of the season for the Lucknow Super Giants. Veteran batter Virat Kohli also aced 600+ runs as he crossed a major milestone of 9000 IPL runs.
