2027 ODI World Cup: The ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2027 is set to be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia however, most of the matches will be played in South Africa. South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia are the hosts of ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2027, which is expected to be played July-August in 2027. Recently, the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup 2024 was hosted by these three nations and the Australia U19 Team emerged as winner of the tournament.
As per the latest report by News24, 2027 ODI World Cup will be played at eight venues in South Africa however, there is no official confirmation by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town and Boland Park in Paarl are some of the venues in South Africa, who is set to host the World Cup 2027 matches.
Australia are the defending champions as they defeated the Indian Team in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 Final by 6 wickets at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indian Team played dominating cricket throughout the tournament but the Australian team outplayed them in the Finals and won their fifth title.
