Firstly, the T20 tournament was conducted in India through October and November 2021, Due to the COVID pandemic. In August 2020, the ICC has rescheduled the t20 men’s world cup tournament, also ICC confirmed Australia would host the 2022 T20 world cup tournament.

ICC Cricket T20 World Cup 2022 qualification pathway.
A total of 86 different teams are bringing to compete for 15 spots in ICC Men’s T20 cricket World Cup 2022.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has declared the qualification pathway for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia, there are 15 spots available in Australia which was decided in four steps the qualifying process starts in April 2021. due to the COVID-19 pandemic, But the 11 regional Men’s T20 qualification tournaments within five regions have been rescheduled to 2021
In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Tournament cricket festival, Australia would be hosting and securing one – over a 13-month of qualification campaign. For the first time Hungary, Romania, and Serbia will be competing for Men’s T20 World Cup qualification and Finland will play host to an ICC event for the very first time. It is also a big change in this tournament that Japan will host for the first time a Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier.
