India National Cricket Team defeated Pakistan National Cricket Team by 5 wickets in the Asia Cup 2025 Final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 28, 2025. The youngster Tilak Verma played a heroic inning of 69 runs in the final game against Pakistan and led his team to lift their 9th Asia Cup title. The Indian team has played fantastic cricket against Pakistan; this was the third time India defeated Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025.
The India National Cricket Team played collective and supportive cricket, every players contributed in their own way, whether he is bowlers or batters. Despite having only pacer, Skipper Suryakumar Yadav used the bowlers perfectly and restricted Pakistan to 146 runs in 19.1 overs. Kuldeep Yadav strikes again and took 4 wickets in this match, whereas Varun Chakravarthy took two crucial wickets.

However, Sanju Samson got out by scoring 24 runs, but then Shivam Dube made a match-winning partnership with Tilak Verma. Both made a 60-run partnership for the 5th wicket and led the Indian Team from under pressure to a good situation now, the whole momentum was in favor of India.
Shivam Dube got out by scoring 33 runs in 22 balls, but Tilak Verma stood till the last and led Indian to victory against Pakistan by 5 wickets in Dubai. Meanwhile, Rinku Singh, who didn’t play a single game in the tournament, got a rare opportunity to hit the winning run on his first ball of the tournament.
Tilak Verma not only played an excellent inning or scored runs he also showed his calm, composed, and calculative character on the ground and finishes the game. Tilak made 69 runs in 53 balls at a strike rate of 130.19 in the Asia Cup 2025 Final.
