After winning, Pakistan jumped to second spot in the latest Asia Cup Super 4 Points Table 2025, and now, they have qualified for the Asia Cup 2025 Final, which is scheduled on September 28, 2025. Pakistan National Cricket Team defeated Bangladesh National Cricket Team in the match no.5 of the Asia Cup 2025 by 11 runs. The Player of the match was Shaheen Shah Afridi for his impressive bowling in this must-win game. He took 3 wickets and also smashed 19 crucial runs for his team.
Both teams played excellent cricket, but Pakistan outsmarted Bangladesh, and now they will be playing the finals against India. Along with Shaheen, Haris Rauf also did great; he also took three wickets in this match; however, batting is still the problem for Pakistan as they were able to put only 135 runs on the scoreboard against a decent bowling lineup of Bangladesh.
Shamim Hossain was the only batter from the Bangladesh side who stood against Pakistani bowlers and played a decent knock of 30 runs, but couldn’t lead his team to victory. Bangladesh’s journey in the Asia Cup 2025 comes to an end. They have played good cricket, but they need to focus more on their batting and pace bowling in the future.
