The West Indies have made an amazing comeback in the 5-match T20I series against India. India VS West Indies 2022 Series is facing many logistical issues. After the logistical issues were solved from the broadcaster’s end, the game was rescheduled to 10 pm and eventually took place at 11 pm. But this might have put the players in a spot of bother. Furthermore, dark clouds still roam over the possibility of having the 4th and 5th T20I in the USA. It has been reported that the players are finding it difficult to get their visas for the USA. Here is an in-depth preview of the game today evening:
Indian Team Preview Before the India VS West Indies 3rd T20I:
The Indian team and its problem against left-arm pacers were exploited by the West Indies. The team is currently looking a bit out of order. The highly rated Ishan Kishan has been rested and is kept outside the playing XI. There is a word of criticism around this decision. But the management has decided to back Rishabh Pant, who has mediocre numbers in the T20I format, ahead of Ishan.
If Ishan walks in, he can easily open the innings and Suryakumar Yadav, who looks out of position can go back to where he belongs in the middle order. Surya can be a team man and can continue to open the innings, but as an avid follower of the game, I would suggest he bat in the middle order. In the bowling unit, Harshal Patel needs to walk in place of Avesh or Arshdeep. The absence of Yuzi Chahal is being felt.
West Indies Team Preview Before the India VS West Indies 3rd T20I:
The West Indies will be high on confidence. They rattled one of the best T20I teams in the 2nd India VS West Indies T20I. The star performer with the ball was Obed McCoy. McCoy showed why left-arm pacers reign supreme, even today. He pegged back India in the very first over, on the very first ball by sending Rohit back to the pavilion.
With the bat, Brandon King will be high on confidence. It was just a matter of time before Brandon performed. As he has always shown signs of good touch against the men in blue. Nicholas Pooran might be disappointed with the middle order as at one moment it looked like India was creeping back in the game.
