WWE Wrestlemania 38: Brock Lesnar won the Royal Rumble 2022 and confirmed last Monday that he will fight Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38, as Dave Meltzer had been advancing over the past few months.
On the other hand, Lesnar was added in the 2022 Elimination Chamber where Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Championship as a result of the fact that the company official, Adam Pearce , considered that Lashley’s victory had not been entirely fair and clean because Roman Reigns attacked Lesnar.

That again has brought up the issue of whether this fight will be a title unification or not and yesterday on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer shared the most recent information that he has been able to learn from his sources within the company:
« I have been told several times this week that Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar will not be a title match vs qualification. But the reality is that they have been doing countless stories on television in which they both talk about a Championship match vs. Championship that you no longer know what to think.
“It seems like they’re telling the fans, ‘We know what you want, but we’re not going to give it to you.’ So, Brock could win in the Elimination Chamber, being extremely strong against Reigns at WrestleMania 38, or it’s not really going to be a title match vs. qualification”
