The Women’s T20 World Cup trophy set off on a 24-hour voyage through Dubai, making stops at the Museum of the Future, Dubai Frame, and Half Desert Dubai, among other places in the city.
After that, on September 6, the trophy will travel across India to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka before making its way back to the United Arab Emirates.

The qualification process for teams
Pakistan qualified for the 2024 tournament, which would have featured the top six teams from the 2023 edition (Australia, England, India, South Africa, New Zealand, and the West Indies), as the team with the second-highest ranking at the deadline in February 2023.
The team led by Nigar Sultana Joty will continue to serve as the event hosts even if the competition is hosted outside of Bangladesh in 2024.
Earlier in the year, in the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka and Scotland qualified for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, securing the remaining two berths.
