The automatic qualification mark for the Paris Olympics 2024 is 83m for the Javelin Event.
Neeraj Chopra is currently participating in the World Athletics Championship to secure her qualification for the Paris Olympics 2024. On 25 August 2023, The Event of Javelin is scheduled in Budapest, Hungary.
Neeraj Chopra kicked off his campaign at the World Athletics Championships 2023 in Budapest, Hungary, on Friday with a massive throw of 88.77m in his first attempt at Group Stage.
After throwing the 88.77m long, Neeraj finished Group A at the Top and secured his qualification for the Finals of Javelin Events in the World Athletics Championship 2023. No players even reach nearer to the mark of Neeraj Chopra.
No players in his group even reached the mark of qualification of 83m. Germany’s Julian Weber threw second-best with a best throw of 82.39m. DP Manu of India Threw third best with a best throw of 81.31m. After finishing in the 3rd spot in Group A, DP Manu still did not qualify for the Final round of the Javelin Event.
After the Completion of Group B Events, the Top 12 players from both groups will qualify for the Final. Another player from India, Kishore Jena, will participate in Group B of Javelin Events. A total of 37 participants are participating in the Javelin Event at the World Athletics Championship 2023. Only 12 players out of 37 players will qualify for the Final round.

In the Tokyo Olympic 2020 Javelin Event Final, Neeraj Chopra Won the Gold Medal in the Men’s category after throwing 88.7 M. Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian Player to win a Gold Medal in Athletics Event in the Olympics. After winning the Gold Medal, he got the Title of “The Golden Boy of India”.
