Indian Team Skipper Rohit Sharma has completed 13,000 runs in International Cricket as an Opener in test cricket. He reached this milestone in his 307th inning and became the third-fastest opener to score 13,000 after Matthew Hayden and Sachin Tendulkar, Who crossed this mark at 293 and 295 innings, respectively.
Rohit Sharma is the 11th opening batsman who scored 13,000 runs across all formats, and he is the third Indian opener after Sachin Tendulkar (15,758) and Virandra Sehwag (15,335) to reach this milestone. Rohit was the fastest opening batsman to score 10,000, 11,000 and 12,000 runs mark behind Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
Skipper Rohit Sharma made his test debut in 2013 and Started opening for Indian Team in 2019. In his first Test match as an opener, Rohit scored centuries in both innings against South Africa at Visakhapatnam.

Australia gave India a target of 444 runs, and if India could chase down the target, then they would become the team to chase the highest total in test cricket. Australia declared their second inning on Day 4 by scoring 270 runs with the loss of eight wickets.
Till Now, Indian Team has scored 132 runs with the loss of three wickets, and they still need 312 runs to win this WTC Final 2023. Shubman Gill got out by scoring 18 runs, whereas Skipper Rohit Sharma was in great touch but again failed to convert it into a big one and scored 43 runs.
