This has been a transfer-active season for PL clubs like Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United, who have already made their first signings of the summer. The Red Devils, under Arne Slot, have begun their pre-season in their post-Klopp era, though they have yet to make a transfer.

With some areas requiring heavy toil, Slot is making his players and staff work hard despite the lack of business and transfers in the pre-season. Before kick-starting their campaign, the Liverpool recruitment team would be in the hunt for Marc Guehi.

The Crystal Palace and England central defender is one of the top targets for the PL club, and they are super confident in finding success, especially with Arsenal now stepping out of the race for the Englishman alongside Dutch veteran Virgil van Dijk. The reports suggest that Slot can land Guehi for an amazing €65 million; however, following his devotion to Selhurst Park, both sides will have to agree on a deal this summer to make the probable transfer.

This transfer could be made at the back, a possible transfer of Liverpool ace Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose future is under doubt at Anfield. According to a report from The Independent, the 25-year-old English wingback is looking to see how things go off under slot before considering chances for either a contract extension or a possible move to the Spanish capital of Madrid.

Arnold’s friendship with England’s golden boy and Real Madrid star, Jude Bellingham, is reported to play a very vital role in his move to Spain. Even Bellingham has agreed on the same, and Real Madrid can once again use their player as an internal agent to succeed in a probable transfer. However, this speculated move will only be made if no new deal is agreed between Arnold and Liverpool following his contract expiry in 2025.
