WPL 2024: Full List of Players Sold at Women’s Premier League 2024 Auction with their price | Women’s Premier League 2024: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 Auction was held in Mumbai on December 09, 2023, and all five franchises done excellent job and successfully filled the all available slots in their team. It was very exciting to watch all the franchises go crazy for some of the quality players.
Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland and Indian all-rounder Kashvee Gautam were sold at the price of 2 crore in the WPL 2024 Auction and both were the most expensive players of the Women Premier League (WPL) 2024 Auction.
Annabel Sutherland was bought by Delhi Capitals whereas Kashvee Gautam was bought by Gujarat Giants. It was a fantastic moment that an Indian Uncapped player was the most expensive player and gave good competition to International players like Annabel Sutherland.
Out of 165 Players, who gave their name to the auction, only 30 players were bought by all five franchises as there was a maximum of 30 slots available for all the teams in this auction. Now, All five teams are set for the WPL 2024 which is expected to start in February 2024.
Some of the talented players like Sri Lankan Skipper Chamari Athapaththu and Australian Player Kim Garth were unsold in the WPL 2024 Auction as the slots were very limited for this auction and teams have very less overseas options too that’s why they preferred Indian players over these International players.
