World Cup 2023 Warm-up Match: New Zealand Defeated Pakistan by five wickets | PAK vs NZ World Cup Warm-up Match: New Zealand played excellent cricket in their first warm-up match of World Cup 2023 as they easily chased the target 346 runs hence they won the match against Pakistan by five wickets.

Rachin Ravindra played a match-winning knock of 97 runs in 72 balls with 16 fours and one six. The biggest positive for New Zealand is that Skipper Kane Williamson batted and scored 54 runs in 50 balls, but he will not play the first match against England on October 5, 2023.

The Pakistani batted well, but the bowlers failed to take wickets and also failed to break partnerships in the middle overs. Mohd. Rizwan scored 103 runs in 94 balls, whereas Skipper Babar Azam scored 80 runs in 84 balls. They led Pakistan to a good total of 345 runs on the scoreboard in 50 overs.

The Bowlers of Pakistan need to perform better in this marquee event, as they took only five wickets of New Zealand in this match. Usama Mir got two wickets, whereas Hasan, Salman and Wasim Jr. took only one wicket each.

World Cup 2023 Warm-up Match: Bangladesh Defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets:

Sri Lanka batted first, and they scored 263 runs and got all out in 49.1 overs. Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera gave an excellent start to the team, but the middle-order batters lost their wickets easily. Pathum Nissanka scored 68 runs in 64 balls, whereas Dhananjaya de Silva scored 55 runs in 79 balls.

Bangladesh easily chased the target in 42 overs with the loss of three wickets only. Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das made a huge partnership of 131 runs for the 1st wicket. From the Bangladesh bowling department, Mahedi Hasan took three wickets in his nine-over spell.

The match was pretty much one-sided as Bangladesh was ahead in the game since the first inning as they bowled well, and then, Batters showed excellent intent and led their team to victory.

World Cup 2023 Warm-up Match: South Africa vs Afghanistan Match Abandoned due to rain:

The Warm-up match between South Africa and Afghanistan was called off due to the Heavy rain in Trivandrum. First, There was a delay in the toss, and then continuous rain abandoned the match.
