Women’s T20I: Bangladesh women’s squads announced against Ireland T20 series: Bangladesh has announced its women’s team for the first two matches of the three-match T20 series against Ireland. After a brilliant performance against Ireland in the ICC Women’s Championship, the host team is ready to continue its winning streak in the short format as well.
The entire series will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS). The first match will be on December 5, the second on December 7, and the final match on December 9. This series will be Bangladesh’s first T20 International series, which is being organized after the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Bangladesh had won just one match in four matches in the World Cup.

Women’s T20I: Balanced squad selection of selectors
The selectors have announced a 15-member squad for the first two T20 matches. The team will be captained by Nigar Sultana Joti, who will also play the role of wicketkeeper.
Nahida Akhtar has been made the vice captain. The team has a mix of experienced and young players, which makes the team strong and balanced.
In addition, Sarmin Sultana, Shamima Sultana, and Disha Niswas have been retained as backup players.
