TATA IPL Points Table: Gujarat gets into the playoffs after the win over SRH by 34 runs. Shubman Gill smashed his first IPL century against Hyderabad, whereas Mohit Sharma and Mohd. Shami bowled a perfect spell and shook the whole batting lineup of SRH. They have taken four wickets each and 28 and 21 runs, respectively.
SRH played well in the first inning as Bhuvneshwar took five wickets haul and bowled a superb spell on the dry wickets, but during the second inning, their batters performed poorly, but Heinrich Klaasen made 64 runs and it was not enough to win the match hence they lost the match and Sunrisers Hyderabad ended their chances of getting into the playoffs.
TATA IPL Orange Cap:
Shubman’s century against SRH led him to second position in the orange cap race, and now he had 576 runs in 13 innings at an average of 48.00. Faf du Plessis remains in the top spot with 631 runs in twelve innings at an average of 57.63.

TATA IPL Purple Cap:
Mohd. Shami bowled a good spell against SRH, took four wickets, and again came to the top position in this leaderboard. Shami had now 23 wickets in 13 matches, whereas Rashid Khan also has 23 wickets, but his Economy rate is quite high.
Yuzvendra Chahal slips to the third position as he had only 21 wickets in 13 matches, whereas Piysuh Chawla and Varun Chakaravarthy are at 4th and 5th spots with 19 wickets.

TATA IPL Points Table 2023:
After Defeating SRH, GT now officially qualified for the IPL 2023 Playoffs, and they still have one match remaining. Gujarat had played 13 matches, in which they won nine matches and lost only four games and have 18 points in IPL Points Table.
Gujarat had a very good positive Net Run Rate of +0.835, and no other team has such a good NRR. CSK and MI are almost confirmed for the playoffs as they have 15 and 14 points and stand at 2nd and 3rd position, respectively, in the IPL points table.
