PAK vs NZ: Pakistan Cricket Board Announces Schedule for the T20I Series against New Zealand: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule of an important T20I series against New Zealand to prepare for the upcoming ICC mega Event, which is set to start from June 01, 2024, in the USA and West Indies. Pakistan will be playing the five-match T20I series against New Zealand at home and this series will start from April 18, 2024.
The New Zealand Men’s Cricket Team will travel to Pakistan for the five-match T20I series before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. As per the reports, New Zealand will arrive in Islamabad (the capital city of Pakistan) on April 14. However, A lot of key players in New Zealand are likely to be unavailable for this series due to the IPL 2024.
Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Trent Boult, Rachin Ravindra, Glenn Philips, Mitchell Santner and many other players will not be part of this five-match T20I series against Pakistan. Pakistani players aren’t allowed to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to Political tensions however, Pakistan usually play bilateral series with other teams during this time period.
This T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played at two different venues. The First three matches of this T20I series will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on April 18, 20 and 21 whereas the remaining two games will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on April 25 and 27.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director Usman Wahle believes this T20I series with New Zealand will help Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team to prepare themselves and fill the gaps of the team before the T20 World Cup 2024. A couple of months back, Pakistan played poor cricket in the ODI World Cup 2023, which led the PCB to make some significant changes to the team to get better results in the future.
