PAK vs IRE 2024: Pakistan’s Massive Victory against Ireland as They won the Three-Match T20I Series by 2-1, Skipper Babar Azam Knocked 75 runs: Pakistan continued the same momentum in the third T20I match and defeated Ireland by 6 wickets at Clontarf Cricket Club in Dublin in just 17 overs. It was a huge victory for Pakistan as once it was like they were going to lose the T20I series against Ireland but after playing phenomenal cricket in the last two T20Is therefore easily won the series.
Pakistan batters have played fantastic cricket in this match as Skipper Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan played a match-winning innings of 75 and 56 runs, respectively. Pakistani Bowers also did quite well compared to the last two games, Shaheen got three wickets whereas Abbas Afridi was able to get only two wickets but he leaked lots of runs in the match.
After performing superbly in the 1st t20I, Ireland failed to replicate the same performance in the last two T20I games, especially with the ball. Irish Bowlers had decent runs to defend but they brutally failed to break essential partnerships and therefore lost the series by 2-1. Lorcan Tucker played another impactful knock of 73 runs but it went in vain similarly as it was in the 2nd T20I.
Now, Pakistan will be playing the four-match T20I series against the defending champions England. The Series is going to start on May 22 and the last match will be played on May 30th just two days before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

After Winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bowl first however this decision didn’t seem in their favour in the first 10 overs as the Irish Batters were dominating the Pakistani Bowlers in Dublin. But, Later on, When the 85-run partnership between Andrew Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker broke, Ireland lost a couple of wickets back-to-back.
Lorcan Tucker played an impressive inning of 75 runs against the Pakistani bowlers, he has shown a great temperament and mostly tries to play grounded shots which helped to play such a huge inning. Andrew Balbirnie and Hary Tector scored 35 and 30 runs, respectively.
Somehow Ireland was able to make 178 Runs on the scoreboard with the loss of seven wickets. From the Pakistan Bowling unit, Shaheen Afridi and Abbas Afridi took three and two wickets whereas Imad Wasim and Mohd. Amir got one wicket each.
In the second inning, Pakistan easily chased the target of 179 runs in just 17 overs. Skipper Babar Azam played an impressive inning of 75(42) after a long time, it is excellent news for Pakistan as their skipper got back into form before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
However, Mohd. Rizwan played another superb knock and scored 56 runs in 38 balls and led his team to dominate Ireland in the third T20I. From the Ireland bowling department, Mark Adair took three wickets whereas Craig Young got only one wicket.
