NZ-W vs ENG-W 2024: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced the squad for New Zealand Women for the T20I series against England, which is scheduled to start on March 19, 2024. New Zealand Women will be playing three-match T20I series against England Women and all three matches will be played at two different venues in New Zealand.

Suzie Bates will be leading the New Zealand Women’s Team in this T20I series however some of the key players are rested for this series. The Regular skipper Sophie Devine and Mumbai Indians star all-rounder Amelia Kerr were rested for the three-match T20I series against England.

Sophie Devine has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore whereas Amelia Kerr played for Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. These players have played decent cricket in the WPL 2024 but due to the tight schedule New Zealand Cricket Board has given rest to both the players seeing the working department.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are playing the WPL 2024 Final against Delhi Capitals Women at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi on March 17, 2024. However, Mumbai Indians were out of the tournament as they lost the WPL 2024 Eliminator against RCB by 5 wickets on March 15, 2024.

Suzie Bates has been exceptional in the past few years for the New Zealand Women’s Team and she is known for her aggressive batting style. Bates has played 152 T20I games for New Zealand and scored 4,118 runs with 27 fifties and one century. Suzie Bates’s experience will help New Zealand youngsters a lot to perform well for their team in this series.
