Strengths of Mumbai Indians (MI) WPL 2026 Squad:
Best All-rounder core: MI’s biggest strength is their quality all-rounders – Nat Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews, Amelia Kerr, Amanjot Kaur and Nicola Carey. These players are capable of single-handedly winning matches in the tournament for the Mumbai Indians.
Experienced Overseas Star Players: Sciver-Brunt, Kerr, Matthews, Ismail and Carey are some quality experienced players who have excellent stats in T20 cricket. This makes the Mumbai Indians (MI) the strongest squad for the upcoming WPL 2026 edition.
Weaknesses of the Mumbai Indians (MI) Ahead of WPL 2026:
Inexperienced Middle-Order: Mumbai Indians have some of the young Indian talents, but they are quite inexperienced, and the big question is how they will perform in the pressure games, so this is going to be a little challenging for Mumbai in the upcoming season.
Too much Reliance on Overseas Players: MI is highly dependent on overseas players like Sciver-Brunt, Matthews and Kerr. If any of the players get injured or unavailable for the WPL 2026, then they might not appreciate a replacement who can play match-winning knocks.
