IPL 2023: Sam Curran, who won Player of the Tournament at the T20 World Cup in Australia, expressed his shock by saying he never had any expectations to earn that agreement.

Sam Curran, an England pacer, is thriving. Once Punjab Kings purchased him for Rs 18.50 crore at the mini-auction on Friday, he became the most expensive purchase in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

His return to Punjab Kings, where he made his IPL debut in 2019, will also be marked by this.

Initially, a shocked Curran stated that he never had any aspirations to receive that agreement.

He concluded. With 13 wickets, Curran won the T20 World Cup in Australia’s Player of the Tournament award. He will play for Punjab Kings alongside fellow Englishmen Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone.

The 24-year-old paceman described his return to the Punjab club as going back to where it all started for me in the IPL with Punjab, where I made my debut four years ago. Hence, returning there seems wonderful, and I can’t wait to join some of my English comrades.
