His innings of 101 not out in the IPL, made with 11 sixes and 7 fours in 38 balls, helped Rajasthan Royals post 227 runs with ease. He contributed a total of 252 runs in the match and batted at a superfast pace.

He has become the youngest T20 centurion. Ravi Shastri called him fearless, and fans have loved his story.

Ayush Mhatre: Chennai’s Rising Star

Seventeen-year-old Ayush Mhatre of Chennai Super Kings was a standout in IPL 2025. Signed for Rs 30 lakh for the season, he replaced the injured Ruturaj Gaikwad.

He smashed 94 runs in 45 balls against RCB, including 9 fours and 5 sixes, proving he can handle big games. On his debut against Mumbai, he scored 32 runs in 15 balls, catching everyone’s attention.

Coach Stephen Fleming said Mhatre’s batting is smooth and powerful. Although CSK’s season ended poorly, Mhatre’s tally of over 200 runs gives fans much hope for the future.

Rishabh Pant: A Season of Struggles

Rishabh Pant of Lucknow Super Giants, bought for Rs 27 crore, had a decent IPL 2025 season. He scored 269 runs in 14 matches, including a century in the last match, but his average was quite low at 19.21 for the season.

Fans expected more from his captaincy, but Lucknow Super Giants missed the playoffs, and Pant’s performance was underwhelming.
